DoD asked to sign Non-disclosure agreements over the defense budget by Obama administration. The agreement specifically mentions OMB, the ones who are supposed to oversee precisely this kind of thing.
Which means he’s planning to gut the military, and he doesn’t want anyone to know about it until its too late to do anything about it.
That man is gonna get us all killed.
Yeah, I know Alex Rodriguez is the man everyone loves to hate. But this is getting out of hand. Because his was the only name from the 104 that got leaked to the press, people are acting like he’s the only man in the history of baseball to ever use steroids.
I’m not passing judgement here. Baseball didn’t have rules then, it has them now, that ought to settle the issue. You wanna put a star next to his name, he can join Barry Bonds in the Kiss My Asterisk club.
But can we stop acting like he’s the only one to use drugs to improve his performance?
I keep reading an interesting dynamic out in blogland. Erstwhile Democrats “upset” or “concerned” that “Republicans are not working with Obama to save the country”.
Why should they care? The Democrats have sufficient numbers in the House, and nearly so in the Senate (and they have a few Republican turncoats on their side anyhow) to do, quite literally, anything they please. They demonstrated as much by shutting the Republicans out of the conference committee meetings on the stimulus bill.
Napoleon said “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake”. If the Republicans not signing on with Porkzilla is such a bad thing for them, why would the Democrats even want them on board?
The only answer that comes to mind is that the Democrats know that the stimulus bill is nothing of the sort, and will not do anything to revive the economy. They didn’t want the Republicans on board as a show of “bipartisanship”. They wanted to be able to share the blame when it all falls apart.
Because if the stimulus works, and the economy is on a path to growth in 12-18 months, the Republicans are looking at an even further reduction in their hold in the House and Senate come 2010.
But it isn’t going to work. And the people that perpetrated it are gonna get owned.
If we make it to 2010, that is.
That would be the Greens.

The Greens of the world have made it perfectly clear where their priorities lie, and human life is at the bottom of the list. As Green policies result in more and more human suffering and death with no benefit to anyone or anything, there will be a backlash.
As more and more Green lies are exposed, and the Green agenda’s anti-human stance becomes undeniable, it’s gonna be a bad time to be a Green.
There are a great many leftists out there publicly decrying capitalism. They will tell anyone who listens that the mortgage collapse and its attendant banking system failure is a result of “capitalism gone amok”, or that it “proves that capitalism has failed.”
Capitalism did not fail.
Government failed. Government rigged the game to favor losers, and the losers took the whole fucking economy down.
Never forget that.

The thing I always warned would happen, indeed HAS to happen in any government-run universal healthcare system has been proposed. Now, I always assumed that it was the endgame, but these bastards are actually using it as their opening move!
