Again with the Global Warming
Yet another report from a leftist think-tank (isn’t that an oxymoron?) - now we are approaching the point where evil humans have done so much damage to poor old Earth that it’s going to be irreversible.
Think about this: They (the perpetual worry-warts) tell us that the global temperature has increased by 1° Fahrenheit in the past century. Were there thermometers accurate to the hundreth of a degree in 1904? I’d be highly skeptical of that. Not to mention methodology of temperature measurements. No, what they have done is they have violated one of the fundamental rules of statistics.
Simply put - most cycles on this Earth are far longer than 50 years. But they use approximately 50 years of temperature data to feed their weather models to determine that we are going to melt (or freeze, whichever you like). These people can’t accurately tell me how much snow I’m going to get tomorrow afternoon, but they can tell me that England is going to be under water in 20 years?
No, here is what this is about, pure and simple. Socialism. Since socialism can’t beat capitailsm in a fair fight, here’s what they came up with: let’s get all of the industrialized capitalist nations to agree to destroy themselves. They called this the Kyoto Accord. What Kyoto would have done is driven all production to the few countries whose carbon dioxide output isn’t regulated, leaving all other countries with mass unemployment and complete financial breakdown.
How exactly this benefits the planet is not clear. I guess with everyone too poor to afford anything then even the factories in China and India would close, and then there would finally be no more pollution. Except for the excrement in the streets.
