Done.
Turns out there was wood behind pretty much the entire back wall, so I wound up using longer wood screws for everything on that wall. I don’t think it’s going anywhere. I’m certain that it won’t handle hundreds of pounds, but I oughtn’t be keeping that much cruft anyhow.
