Why the lefties are so scared of Global Warming

I finally figured out why so many leftists are terrified of AGW (That’s anthropogenic (human induced (caused)) global warming) -
New York will be under water. Algore says so. Their mecca, the city to which they pray, will disappear under a mile of water. And the thought of a world without New York is just intolerable to them.
Unless New York is threatened by Islamists, in which case the bastards had it coming.
