64,000 miles, and I gotta replace my rims. Why? Due to a manufacturing defect, they have corroded and pitted, and now not only do they look like shit (which I was willing to put up with) but they will no longer hold pressure. I’ve already cut one tire down because of it.
And now I’ve got an at least $1,000 unplanned expenditure to deal with.
And VW says “There’s nothing we can do about it given the age and mileage of the car.”
Fuckers.
