Landed at 0735 local time in Stockholm. Picked up at the airport in a stretched Volvo. Checked in to the hotel around 0900 (that’s 3 am for those of you back home).
We asked for the “new section”, since Charlie (my accomplice) was told by coworkers that the beds there are larger. They didn’t have any rooms in the new section ready at the time, so we took what was available. Which was this:
Yeah. Huh. So we went back to the desk, and said we’d gladly wait for the newer rooms. Which nets us this:
Better. At least the bed is a real size.
On the plus side, the bar has about 25 different good beers on tap, and Chimay in the fridge. Oh, and a shelf of whiskey. Can’t forget the whiskey.
