I’m confused.

11:15 AM Eastern Standard Time, February 16, 2006.

It is presently 55.4 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Looking around, you’d be hard pressed to believe we just had a blizzard romp through here four days ago.

What was 20 inches of snow is now well under a foot. Some of that is from the fact that it was light fluffy snow, which compresses even if it doesn’t get too warm, but once the meltage begins, it collapses faster than a soufflé in a dancing academy.

The sky is completely clear, no clouds, no haze. It’s a stunning day.

And I’m so far behind in my work that I may never catch up. I need distractions like this – like I need another hole in my head.
